Our approach to privacy

Secure Agility a specialist Information and Communications Technology (ICT) services provider, dedicated to delivering technology solutions across the Network, Cloud, Data Centre, On-Premise, Security, Applications & Collaborative environments, and End User Computing. We are committed to the open and transparent management and use of all personal information and/or data collected. Our Privacy Policy (Policy) is developed in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles established under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). In the event of a change of our Policy, we will notify by email to the email address you have provided within 24 hours of the change.  

Collecting your information

We will only collect and hold personal information that is necessary for our functions and activities, as outlined below, and will only do so by lawful means. When dealing with our clients, we will collect a minimal level of personal information including names and contact details. If you apply for a job with us, we may also collect further information such as work history, resumes, and photo IDs.  

How do we collect and hold your information?

We will typically only collect personal information from this website when it is voluntarily provided by you – for example, when you register your details for a specialist team member to get in touch with you. We can also collect information through hosted and third-party events, sales engagement and networking and telephone contact with you. We will only collect personal information through lawful and fair means. We generally store your personal information on our own systems, and use high quality security protocols to protect your personal information from misuse, interference or loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Where necessary for our business operations, we will also store data on appropriate third party sytems such Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce.com, Xero and similar systems. Our security systems are regularly reviewed and updated to maintain the integrity and security of your information.   

How we use your information

The personal information collected and held by Secure Agility is used for identifying our customers, tailoring and improving our services for you, and complying with certain laws and regulations. We may use or disclose the personal information for the purpose of direct marketing. You may opt out of us using your personal information for direct marketing by telling us you wish to opt out in writing. We will not disclose an individual’s personal information to an overseas recipient or a third party without your express consent.  

Access

Subject to proof of identity, you have a right to request access to any personal information about you, as well as to seek its correction. This may be done by submitting an enquiry to our general email at marketing@secureagility.com. We will respond to a request for access to personal information within 30 days of receipt of the request. There is no fee for an individual to make a request for access to their personal information, however in cases of complexity a reasonable fee for processing the request may be charged.  

Breach of Australian Privacy Principles

If you believe that we are in breach of our obligations under the Australian Privacy Principles, then you may lodge a written complaint to marketing@secureagility.com. Upon receipt of a formal complaint, we will perform an internal investigation and the outcome of that investigation will be communicated to you within 30 days.
