BaaS

Don’t be a victim of ransomware. Our Backup-as-a-Service is centrally-hosted and managed, protecting VMs and restoring these to any recent state with incremental-forever backups and point-in-time recovery.
Your data is encrypted while at rest or in transit and is governed by granular permissions.

DRaaS

Disaster recovery (DR) as-a-Service protects your business in the event of a large scale problem or failure. DRaaS replicates data and applications to another data centre and can provide near-zero RTOs for VMware VMs.
Save high capital and management costs associated with secondary facilities. This offering is customised to each customer’s unique business availability needs.
ROBO

Secure Agility protects Remote Data Centre and Remote Branch Offices with backup as a service.
Command and Control as well as Primary Storage on premises in either a virtualised edition on customer infrastructure or supplied as a device/service.
Secondary storage repositories within Secure Agility data centres or secondary/tertiary storage repository/s with public cloud object storage (see Archival as a Service).
Archival-as-a-Service

Archival-as-a-Service can protect and retain data for longer periods of time in cloud object storage repositories in an encrypted state.
Archive-as-a-Service is provided on a consumption basis, with upfront costs remaining low and increasing as more resources are consumed over longer periods.
Backup is the foundation for DPaaS4, which is available in two levels.
Standard
• A single data centre backup service
• Copies of IaaS VMs sent to a physically separate backup platform within the same data centre as the production workload
• Retention is maintained on that platform for the specified period
Advanced
• A dual data centre backup service
• Copies of IaaS VMs sent to a physically separate backup platform within the same data centre as the production workload
• All backups are replicated to an equivalent platform within a secondary data centre.
• Retention is maintained on that platform for the specified period.
• Replication of backup data from primary to secondary data centres takes additional time (and might exceed the backup window). However, this does not affect the primary backup.

FAQs
Does my data stay in Australia?
Yes, all Secure Agility data protection services are located in Australia. If customers' data is stored with a public cloud provider, we ensure and request that all storage remains within Australia.
How much does DPaaS cost?
DPaaS is offered as a complementary service to all Secure Agility’s hosted and managed Services customers using our IaaS platform. Although optional , it is strongly recommended as it is tightly coupled to our hosted services.
If paying, in most cases the service is pay-per-use, so you only pay for the storage consumption you use.
DPaaS can also be chosen as an independent offering to protect remote data centres not hosted and managed by Secure Agility. This will have some discrete and customised costs.
Ask your Secure Agility rep for accurate costing for your specific use case.
How is my data managed?
DPaaS is managed and maintained by our operations team, with automated alerting and additional checklists performed to ensure backup data and backup service consumption is adequately maintained. Data retrieval is simple and easy by logging a request with our service desk to restore the data you need.
Is my data secure?
Yes, our backup platform software encrypts data at rest leveraging AES 256 ciphers and when data is transferred from one data centre to another is it encrypted in transit.
I’m a government customer, is my data in GovDC?
Yes, the default for NSW government data centre customers is for data to remain within NSW GovDCs unless requested otherwise, or mutually agreed.
How long is my data retained?
The default retention period is 30 days, with backups occurring daily within a specified target backup time window, which can be adjusted due to specific requirements. Customers needing longer retention periods should look at our Archival-as-a-Service offering.
