Annual golfing charity event a way for IT businesses in Australia to contribute to charity.
In its 7th successful year, Secure Agility’s CEO, David Abouhaidar, has expanded his annual charity golf day under the new brand ‘IT For A Cause‘ as an opportunity for the IT industry to unite for this well-known event.
In 2020, the beneficiaries will be Ronald McDonald House charities Sydney, The Cooper Rice-Brading Foundation and the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation. In 2019, $30,000 was split between Ronald McDonald house charities Sydney and Save Our Sons org. This year, thanks to the generosity of this incredible industry uniting to make a difference, we are on target to raise a lot more.
According to David Abouhaidar, he established ‘IT For A Cause’ to help co-ordinate IT and Technology companies who are focussed on giving back to those in need.
“We are part of an amazing industry and collectively, we can have a huge impact in making a difference for those less fortunate. This is not a charity – but simply a channel for raising money and distributing it to chosen registered charities in the community. My hope is that any vendor, distributor or partner conducting a charity event, can do so under the same branding”.
– David Abouhaidar
100% of all money raised is distributed equally to the chosen charities.
The event will be held on Wednesday, March 11th from 1pm at St Michaels Course, Little Bay and conclude with a dinner from 6pm. There are still team and sponsorship packages available. (For more information please contact Jody.King@secureagility.com). Confirmed Gold sponsors this year include HP, Nutanix and Astron Tech.
