We’re pleased to announce that we have appointed David Abouhaidar as Secure Agility’s new CEO, effective immediately. David will be joining current Director, Charlie Tannous and Head of Operations, John Tannous, as equal stakeholders in Secure Agility.
David’s appointment is a strong reflection of our growth and the demand for our services. Over the last 18 months Secure Agility has gained a number of key customers, launched a new managed services offering, achieved Cisco Gold status, signed on as a Google Cloud Platform partner, increased our headcount by 20%, and more.
Passion for customer- first success.
David joins Secure Agility with decades of technical, leadership and entrepreneurial experience. Prior to joining Secure Agility, David was an equal equity owner in Klikon Solutions from 2000. He was a key driver of its success which saw the company grow annually by double digits. Kilkon also acquired NSW Govt owned organisation AC3 in 2013 and expanded to become a formidable name in the IT industry.
He credits his success to driving the right team culture, which in turn delivers customer-first success.
Outside of work, David is a father to 3 daughters and a soccer fanatic. He is also the founder of “IT for a cause”, and serves on advisory boards for Save Our Sons and Ronald McDonald House Randwick.
Taking Secure Agility to the next level.
Through David’s leadership, customers and partners can expect to see a strengthening of Secure Agility’s services; and an increase in exciting developments, including new product launches, strategic partnership announcements and customer enablement.
Commenting on the appointment Secure Agility Director, Charlie Tannous said “The team have worked hard to get us to this point, and we’ve continued to grow from strength to strength. Over the last 12 months we’ve had interesting conversations with our customers and partners, and now is the time to take it up a level. I’m excited about David joining Secure Agility and helping ramp up our success.”
Tannous continued “David’s dedication to ensure we stay true to our team, customers, partners and stakeholders, means we will continue to keep with our grassroots, all while driving rapid growth.”
A 50 per cent stake in Sliced Tech.
In addition to David joining the team, Secure Agility has also acquired a 50 per cent stake in Sliced Tech – a Canberra based managed services provider specialising in the deployment of highly regulated cloud and security solutions across government and enterprise organisations.
Sliced Tech and Secure Agility have previously partnered on a number of key projects, and this agreement further strengthens the relationship, with customers benefiting from a tightly integrated approach.
Both Secure Agility and Sliced Tech will continue to operate as separate companies and entities.
“Secure Agility’s breadth and depth of expertise puts us in a great position for this next chapter”, CEO David Abouhaidar stated. “With our track record, we have the opportunity to take industry best of breed solutions and make them accessible to other industries with similar requirements. Our first cab off the rank will be through our partnership with Sliced Tech and making ASD certified Managed Security services accessible to State Government and Enterprise organisations.”
Abouhaidar continued ”I’m super excited about embarking on this journey and look forward to sharing our success.”
